The Michigan CBC Host Committee will host the 2015 Michigan CBC Delegation Reception and Motown Live Afterglow on Friday, September 18th at the Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square (801 K St NW) from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am. This event is held annually during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.
The Michigan CBC Delegation Reception and Motown Live Afterglow is attended by members of Michigan’s Congressional and State Legislative Delegations, as well as, luminaries of politics and business from across the nation. This year, we will honor the following individuals: U.S. Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence (John Conyers, Jr. Public Service Award), Shirley Stancato (Champion of Justice Award), DTE Energy (Distinguished Corporate Citizen Award – Large), ChemicoMays (Distinguished Corporate Citizen Award – Small/Medium) and Reginald M.
